Mah Jong Club Every Wednesdays 9:00 am – Noon Free with membership Mah Jong is a tile game of skill, strategy, and calculation and involves a degree of chance. Bring your 2023 game card. This group meets independently and is member lead; there is no designated instructor.
Seniors Prom Saturday, September 9 3:00 – 6:00 pm Free Join us for Denver Parks and Recreation Fifth Annual Seniors’ Prom at City Park Pavilion. Come dressed to impress in your red carpet best to enjoy a fun evening filled with music, dancing and food. Registration is required; visit your closest DPR Recreation Center or online. This event has limited seating and is for those aged 50 and older. Walk-ins not accepted.
Step by Step Painting Tuesday, September 12 10:00 am – Noon $5 In this fun step-by-step painting class each student will follow along with the instructor and leave with a finished project. All supplies are provided. Registration and payment required prior to class.
Tea Dance Tuesday, September 12 1:00 – 3:00 pm $7 Join us for an afternoon of dancing with live entertainment by Tom Yook. Admission paid at the door, cash only.
Presentation: Origami Tuesday, September 26 1:00 – 3:00 pm Free Join us for an interactive educational presentation of Origami. Learn more about the Japanese art of paper folding, see examples and visit the origins and history of this popular art form. Please register in advance.
Thanksgiving Showcase Thursday, November 10:00 am – 3:00 pm $10 Join us for our annual craft show scheduled the same day as our Thanksgiving luncheon. We are looking for various types of arts and crafts to make available for purchase to the community. Note: The fee of $10 per table is to participate as a craft show artist.
