What: 12th Annual Arvada Kite Festival
When: SUNDAY, April 12, 2015; 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Where: Stenger Soccer Complex at W. 58th Avenue and Quail Street
The Kite Festival includes the following activities:
The Stenger Soccer Complex offers plentiful free parking, but biking and walking to the event is encouraged.
Kite Making Classes at Majestic View Nature Center
The City of Arvada’s Majestic View Nature Center is offering kite-making classes for children ages 4 – 10 in advance of the Festival.
Friday, April 10, 4 – 5 p.m.
Saturday, April 11, 9, 10, and 11 a.m. and 1, 2, and 3 p.m.
The class costs $4 per person and includes all materials. Advance registration is required; call 720-898-7405.
