Heart Failure Aware Seminar Planned for Friday, June 30, 2017
Denver, Colo. – Approximately 6.5 million Americans are diagnosed with heart failure, yet many have misunderstandings about the condition. That’s why Friday, June 30, there will be a free educational seminar, “Heart Failure Aware,” at the Eisenhower Recreation Center, 4300 E Dartmouth Ave in Denver. This program will provide information to help patients and their caregivers better identify, manage, and understand heart failure.
First, a health care professional will walk attendees through causes of heart failure, common symptoms, management tips, and frequently prescribed medications. Then, attendees will hear from a heart failure patient, who will share his or her personal, first-hand experience with heart failure. Following the presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a question and answer session with both speakers.
Attendees are welcome to bring a loved one or caregiver.
