“Heart and Soul” Exhibit Opens at Parsons Theatre in Northglenn

March 28, 2024, Northglenn, CO –Northglenn Arts is proud to partner with Access Gallery on the exhibit “Heart and Soul” now on display at the Parsons Theatre Gallery.

Access Gallery is honored to present “Heart and Soul”, an exhibition featuring works created through the Artistic Realization Technologies (A.R.T.) program. “We have wanted to bring this incredible program to Denver for many years and thanks to the generous funding received through Arts in Society we were finally able to achieve it,” they shared. Founded over 25 years ago by visual artist Tim Lefens, A.R.T. empowers artists who have limited or no use of their hands to fully direct the artmaking process from start to finish. A person called a tracker is assigned to each artist to transfer their creative thoughts to the canvas. Facilitated painting using A.R.T. empowered artists to transcend physical limitations and share their creativity.

Northglenn Arts and Access Gallery will host an opening reception on Monday, April 1 from 6-7 p.m. Art enthusiasts, patrons, and the public are cordially invited to join this celebration. The Parsons Theatre Gallery is located inside the Northglenn Recreation Center, 1 East Memorial Parkway Northglenn, CO, 80233. Use the south entrance of the building (Parsons Theatre entrance); the exhibit space is near the community rooms. For more information, please call the Parsons Theatre Box Office at 303-450-8888.
