Harvard Square Retirement Community Announces New Management
DENVER, CO. – Management of Harvard Square retirement community, located at 10200 East Harvard Avenue, has been assumed by Watermark Retirement Communities, Inc., one of the nation’s leading operators of senior living communities.
“The transition is going very smoothly and we’re already discovering the benefits of being managed by Watermark,” said Brian Erickson, Executive Director. “I’m looking forward to working with Watermark and we’re excited to implement their signature programs.
Watermark is known for innovative practices, outstanding systems, top-notch dining and resident-centered services built on personal choice. “We like to challenge all the old notions of what it means to live and work in a retirement community, particularly the delivery of care and services,” stated David Barnes, President/CEO of Watermark Retirement Communities. “Harvard Square is already very closely aligned to the Watermark vision. The community doesn’t feel like a medical institution. The small scale of the community and the close relationships between residents and caregivers makes living at Harvard Square a great way to age well.”
As part of Watermark Retirement Communities, Harvard Square will soon unveil Watermark University, with engaging classes taught by associates, residents and special guests. The vision of Watermark University is to enhance mind and body fitness, strengthen relationships and make living and working there more engaging and fulfilling. Each class will offer a limited number of spaces for area seniors.
