Nellie Hougard will celebrate her 100th birthday on May 7, 2014.

Nellie Hougard of Lakewood will celebrate her 100th birthday on May 7th. Nellie is the mother of four children, grandmother to 11 children and great grandmother to 12 children.

Nellie was born the seventh of eight children. Her sister Dolores (Dukie) passed away last year a few months after celebrating her 100th birthday.

Aside from doing her daily chores Nellie is a true Rockies fan and can usually be found listening to the games.
Family and friends will mark this special occasion with a party.
