ARVADA, CO — The Arvada Reservoir is calling all young anglers to participate in the 13th Annual Kids Fishing Tournament on June 8. All kids, 14 and under, are welcome to fish for FREE and try to win a prize! First through third place trophies will be awarded for each age group and there will plenty of door prizes following the awards presentation.
This family friendly event is a great time to get together and have fun in the Colorado outdoors. The event includes a casting contest, goodie bags for all participating kids, plus free hot dogs and soda.
Fishing starts at 6:00 a.m. and no boats are allowed on the lake at any time during the contest. To register your child, pick up a form at the Arvada Reservoir Ranger Station or swing by the main desk at Arvada City Hall, 8101 Ralston Road.
