Free summer concert series schedule announced
Here’s something to look forward to – free summer concerts at Arvada’s McIlvoy Park, 5750 Upham Street! Kick off your shoes, tickle your toes in the cool grass and enjoy the music on a perfect summer evening.
Children’s concerts are on Fridays from 9:30-10:15 am at McIlvoy Park. This park does not have a covered shelter for shade or seating, so please plan accordingly.
The family and children’s concert series are both free, thanks to grant funding from the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District, along with local sponsors, including the Apex PRD Foundation, Craft Carousel Gift Shop, Prospect Recreation and Park District, Sooper Credit Union, Arvada Festivals Commission, Arvada Parks Department, Centura Health at Home, Friends of the Concerts, and New Dawn Chiropractic & Acupuncture.
Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in City of Arvada parks. In case of inclement weather, performances move to the Community Recreation Center, 6842 Wadsworth Blvd.
