Free Hospitality Hour for Seniors

Hospitality House for Seniors is open again. From September 2013 through June 2014 senior citizens are invited to enjoy free luncheons, movies, a book club, and bingo at Assistance League® of Denver, 1400 Josephine St. The first Wednesday of each month will be an all-star movie and a light lunch. Second Wednesdays provide a delicious home cooked luncheon and entertainment. The third Wednesday is for book lovers and the fourth Wednesday is all about BINGO.

It’s all free. Join the interesting and active seniors who have been coming to Hospitality House for years and meet the Assistance League hostesses who want you to have a really good time.

When: 1st Wednesday – 10:30 a.m., Movie, and Light Lunch
2nd Wednesday – 12:00 noon, Big Luncheon and Entertainment
3rd Wednesday – 10:30 a.m., Book Club; bring your own lunch
4th Wednesday – 12:00 noon, Lunch and Bingo

Reservation Deadline is the Friday before the Wednesday activity. No reservation needed for Book Club.


Each year the Assistance League of Denver provides direct, hands-on services to more than 13,000 Denver area children, students, seniors, and victims. An all volunteer organization, Denver’s Assistance League was founded in 1958 and is a chapter of National Assistance League. It is a nonprofit, nonpolitical, nonsectarian 501c(3) charitable organization whose volunteers are dedicated to assisting children and adults. Assistance League has no paid executive or management staff.
