Free Healthier Living Colorado™ Classes Starting in July in Colorado Springs

A program to help people deal with the challenges of living with an ongoing health condition such as heart disease, a lung condition, diabetes or arthritis will be held at two locations starting in July. On Wednesdays from July 8 to August 12, the class will meet from 5:30-8 p.m. at the Center for Active Living, 4863 N. Nevada Ave. On Thursdays from July 23-August 27, the class will meet from 5:30-8 p.m. at Doctors Medical Group, 3210 N. Academy Blvd., Suite 3. Both free six-week classes are open to the community.

Healthier Living Colorado™ is the chronic disease self-management program developed at Stanford University. Whatever the diagnosis, this class teaches and supports participants in making better choices and practicing self-management.
