February Starts for LearnOn Classes
Give a unique Valentine’s gift to someone you love! LearnOn at MSU Denver has three new offerings for Feburary –one in the arts; one for career development; one for satisfying your curiosity!
If you have ever thought about classical music in the context of the art and architecture of its time, come to have fun and learn with Betsy Schwarm Glesner, resident music historian for the Colorado Symphony and Opera Colorado. She will present “Classical Music Insights: Intersections with Art, Literature and Architecture” starting on February 24th, 6-8 pm in the SSB on the Auraria Campus.
If you are feeling trapped in your present job, come and join Dr. Lillie Ben, a professor at MSU Denver in the Institute of Women’ s Studies and Services, as she teaches “Taking Control: Making Your Dream Job Your Reality.” This class will meet for four Wednesdays starting on February 24th, 6-8 pm, Student Success Building on the Auraria Campus.
Starting on February 17th and running for four Wednesdays, 6-8 pm, join Dr. Daniel Marion, an international certified forensic artist. He is teaching “The Confluence of Art and Science in Forensic Facial Reconstruction.” Dr. Marion will demonstrate and aid you in creating a reasonable likeness of a face that a deceased individual wore in life.
To register or to see the other LearnOn spring offerings, go to www.msudenver.edu/learnon or call 303-556-3657 for more information.
An added bonus: “3 for 2” so that if you have two paid registrations, you may bring a third friend for free.
Education is lifelong! Come and join us!
