Experience the 2020 Dumb Friends League Furry Scurry

Walk the Dog, Drink the Beer, Eat the Food and Help the Animals!

DENVER (January 20, 2019) Walk, drink, eat and more—all to help homeless pets at Furry Scurry, the Dumb Friends League’s signature fundraising event. This year, Colorado’s favorite dog walk and fun run will have everything longtime fans have come to expect, along with exciting, new activities.

On Saturday, May 2, animal lovers and their canine companions will enjoy a two-mile walk around beautiful Washington Park in Denver and experience a fun, dog-friendly festival.

New this year, registered participants will have access to Furry Scurry’s first-ever beer garden, featuring local brews from Denver Beer Co., Cerveceria Colorado and O&A Hard Seltzer.

Flippin’ Flapjacks will be on hand serving up delicious pancakes for people and pup-cakes for dogs. People can also shop for unique pet-related items, compete in one-of-a-kind contests with their pups and much more.

“When you register for Furry Scurry, you’ll have a great time and feel good knowing you’re helping animals in need,” said Dr. Apryl Steele, president and CEO of the Dumb Friends League. “Money raised at this event helps us provide warm shelter, medical care, behavior training and more to the 21,000 homeless pets and horses that come through our doors this year.”

Registered Furry Scurry participants will experience Colorado’s favorite dog walk, the beer garden and receive an exclusive event T-shirt. The pancake/pup-cake breakfast can be added on for an additional fee.

Early-bird registration is only $45 for adults and $25 for children 12 and younger. Prices increase on March 1 and May 1, so anyone interested in participating is encouraged to register early.
