Enjoy Live Music and Dancing at Union Station

Gentlemen, polish your shoes, ladies, pull out your summer dresses, and get ready to twist, twirl and dance the night away this summer, in celebration of the newly restored historic Union Station.

ZoZo Outdoor has teamed up with the Community Minded Dance (cmDance) and the Colorado Swing Dance Club to present swing dance events for the public on August 13th, August 20th and August 27th, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The outdoor events, which will be held at Union Station, at 1701 Wynkoop, Denver, CO 80202, will feature live music performed by stellar local jazz bands, and is open to the public, free of charge.

Non-profit organizations The Colorado Swing Dance Club and cmDance, focus on inspiring great attitudes and building courage and self-esteem through the delight of swing dance.

“It’s truly inspiring to see new couples come out for the first time; many start out a little timid and uncertain about the footwork, but by the end of the night, they are laughing and swinging like pros,” said Caryn Carrasco, the founder and executive director of cmDance.

“It’s a great pleasure for everyone, whether you’re a novice or professional dancer. We offer several opportunities for people to put their attitude shoes on and come out and show off your moves,” said David Vinson, public relations coordinator for the Colorado Swing Dance Club.

Union Station, is the transportation hub downtown – offering bus, light rail and train services, as well as the opportunity to dine and shop while you wait. Come enjoy the sunsets, share stories of your travel adventures and liven up your nights with some swingin’ dance moves.
