Halcyon Hospice and Palliative Care will be facilitating an Adult Grief Support Group for those who would like support in their loss. This is a drop in group – no reservation necessary. For

Firefighters from the Brighton Fire Dept. will be here to perform free blood pressure checks.

Learn helpful caregiving tips, gain valuable insight from other caregivers, and much more. Find
out about free or low cost resources to help you. Tina Wells from the Alzheimer’s Association
facilitates the group.

Bunco is an easy and fun game of dice. We can teach you the game in 5 minutes if you don’t know how to play. Enjoy an afternoon of laughter, refreshments, and prizes.

Suitcases and Backpacks Needed!
Veterans being discharged from the VA Hospital often have only a paper bag to carry home their
personal belongings. Let’s tell our troops we care by donating no longer needed suitcases and
backpacks. We will collect them on July 12 ONLY. Donna Ulrey coordinates this program.

The Young Artists Chorale is a talented group of third through eighth grade students from all
over the Front Range. There’s 20-30 members so it should be great. Chicken salad sandwiches,
fruit and dessert from Inglenook will be served before the performance.

with Sally field starring as his wife. 1861-1865 are the years covered in the movie.

Can You See Me Now?
What can I do to prevent cataracts? What can I do to prevent macular degeneration? What can I
do to prevent glaucoma? If I am going to get one or more of these conditions what can I do once I have it. Please join Dr. Rod Fair, long time Brighton resident and Dr. of Optometry, to hear what is new and what is not so new about the three big conditions seniors may face in their lifetimes.

Low Vision Group
The Low Vision Group is a free drop-in program for seniors 55+ with visual impairments.
