Evolution of the Helicopter
Learn about the development of the modern day helicopter – from the gyrocopter that was developed in Denver and couldn’t get off the ground to the helicopter we know today. Hear about new vertical aviation technology that now allows the helicopter to electrically turn on a dime. Presenter and longtime Brighton resident Don Chew worked on the gyrocopter in its early development and has lots of pictures and material to share. Two chances to attend this fascinating talk. Angelyne is deaf and responds to over 60 cues including hand signals, touches, flashlights, facial/body language and vibrations.  Eric Melvin created the unique training program that has made them famous nationwide. Their partnership is a unique and unforgettable story about love, partnership, dedication and perseverance.

Kenya Slideshow
Donna Singer went on a 2 week photo safari of Kenya, Africa several years ago. She toured with a small group from the Denver Zoo and visited 4 different eco systems.
