Molly Brown DVD
In honor of Colorado’s statehood, watch a DVD biography of the spirited and complex Molly Brown.  It is a revealing portrait of the progressive reformer who embodied the great moments of her time.  A 30-minute film by the Molly Brown House Museum.  After a short break we will show another DVD related to Colorado’s history.   9:30 a.m.  Wed. Friday Feast

Feathered Friends – Falcons
Over 4,000 years ago falcons were used by people to hunt food via the art and science of falconry.  Learn about this and the falcon’s habitats and habits in this 30 – 45 minute program by the Raptor Education Foundation.  Plenty of time for questions and to view the live bird up close. Colorado Catastrophes
Colorado weather and its history is filled with ups and downs, upheavals and disasters.  Historian Ed Weising, shares stories and pictures of some of the worst things that happened in Colorado including bad weather, mine disasters, fires and floods.  If you have lived in Colorado for a while you may remember some of these events.   9:30 – 11:00 a.m. Thurs. Increasing Happiness
