Celiac Disease, Gluten Intolerance, and Gut Health
A healthy gut is a happy gut, and we’re going to talk about ways to keep it healthy. We’ll also learn the difference between celiac disease and gluten intolerance, as well as the pros and cons of a gluten-free diet. Join Dr. Maureen Fleming of Alcott Women’s Center to learn the latest on Osteoporosis. She will talk about the methods of screening for this condition, the importance of diet and exercise for prevention of it, and what to do if you have been diagnosed with it.

Conservation in Nepal
Dave Johnson is a zookeeper at the Denver Zoo. He has traveled to Nepal several times, working at a vet hospital and working to save the rhinos. He takes a team with him each time (Gayle will be traveling with him this fall.) He has written a children’s book about a rhino with proceeds benefiting the Zoo and his efforts in Nepal. Dave will show photos and share animal artifacts from the area.
