Denver area artists featured in national calendar
Denver, CO – Rosemary Weiler, a resident at St. Andrew’s Village, has been selected from hundreds of artists around the U.S. to be featured in Expressions 2019, a full-color wall calendar celebrating active aging and the arts. Weiler’s watercolor piece, End of Summer, was chosen for the month of March. Weiler earned her BFA in Advertising at Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma, her home town. She is the former president of the Denver Allied Arts Guild and longtime designer of Hallmark cards. Weiler enjoys art to this day as a resident of St. Andrew’s Village.
A 2019 Honorable Mention was also awarded to Rich Clarkson, a resident at Harvard Square.
The inspiring calendar, now in its 19th edition, showcases paintings, sculptures, quilts, ceramics and other creations submitted by artists, both amateur and professional, who reside at more than 51 Watermark retirement communities nationwide. To view the calendar visit https://www.

“Art is an ageless form of self-expression and we’re pleased to share the inspiring artwork of our talented residents in this year’s calendar,” said David Barnes, President and CEO of Watermark Retirement Communities. “Personally, I find their life stories every bit as inspiring as their art.”
