Continuing Education Classes
Metropolitan State University of Denver is offering non-credit, continuing education classes beginning this spring through our LearnOn program. We have a lot of exciting options for classes ranging from wine tasting, wedding planning, rock climbing, to job search strategies and many computer classes. All of our classes are held on our main campus located in downtown Denver.

Explore the many facets of Islam with Dr. Ahmad Ghais, a Muslim, born and raised in Egypt, and a U.S. citizen since 1967. Is Islam the enemy of America? Explore the evolution of Islam in the U.S. and Islamophobia.
- Rock-Climbing – Self-Rescue

This course will cover the basic self-rescue skills that every climber should know before leaving the ground. This course will involve a combination of demonstration and hands-on practice. Rental equipment is provided at no extra cost.
- Beginning Crochet

Come explore the many wonders of crochet in a relaxed environment! Learn how to read patterns, work beginner stitches and finish off a project. Students will leave with four projects, extra yarn and lots of ideas!

- 3-D Printing: Make Your Imagination Real

Learn about the different types of 3D printing machines and materials available. Participate in hands-on projects creating parts files and sending them to different printers. Develop a good foundation that will allow you to incorporate 3D printing into personal projects.
