Free Summer Concert Series
Join us for a Friday morning performance for you and your grandkids, or a Thursday evening concert for the whole family at McIlvoy Park, 5750 Upham Street. Sponsored by the Scientific & Cultural Facilities District, Apex Park & Recreation District Foundation, Sooper Credit Union, Craft Carousel Gift Shop, Gardens at St. Elizabeth, Prospect Recreation & Park District, City of Arvada Parks, and the Friends of the Concerts. In case of rain, the concerts move to the Community Recreation Center, 6842 Wadsworth Blvd.

Final Wishes Expo
Wednesday, June 26, 8:15-11:30 am
Addressing end of life topics is never easy; yet planning eases the burden on your family and friends. Meet professionals who can provide you with options to prepare and clarify your final wishes. Register in advance, 303-425-9583, for this free expo. Breakout sessions include: “Estate Planning” at 9:15 am, and Five Wishes at 10:30 am, please also register for these as space is limited. Celebrate Senior Friday Club

A free open house to learn about the Friday Club’s opportunities: bridge, golf, mahjongg, pinochle, Hand and Foot, and more. Enjoy snacks and door prizes.

Water Conservation Expo Trip
Saturday, June 8, 9:30 am-3:30 pm
Visit the many booths at the Northern Water Conservation Gardens in Berthoud, which provides homeowners with wise water use, landscaping ideas and how to apply them to your own yard. Lunch following the Expo at a local restaurant (cost on your own). Register early, $16 ($21 non-res.).

Starting Your Memoir

Genealogy Workshop

Come work at your own pace and have Kathy Tarullo assist you as needed. The workshop

Medicare 101
Monday, June 24, 6:30-7:30 pm
Learn about Medicare basics and how to maneuver the maze. Provided by DRCOG’s State Health Insurance Assistance Program. Free, but register early.

Party Bridge
Tuesday, June 11 & 25, 1-4 pm
Play for fun, partners rotate after each game. Register ($3.50/day) by the Friday before each game. Fee includes game, prizes, and dessert.
