Free Summer Concert Series
Join us for a Friday morning performance for you and your grandkids, or an Thursday evening concert for the whole family at the McIlvoy Park, 5750 Upham Street. Sponsored by the Scientific & Cultural Facilities District, Apex Park & Recreation District Foundation, Craft Carousel Gift Shop, Gardens at St. Elizabeth, Prospect Recreation & Park District, Sooper Credit Union, City of Arvada Parks, and the Friends of the Concerts. In case of rain, the concerts move to the Community Recreation Center, 6842 Wadsworth Blvd.

Final Wishes Expo
Wednesday, June 20, 8:15-11:15 am
Addressing end of life topics is never easy; yet planning ahead eases the burden on your family and friends. Meet professionals who can provide you with options to prepare and clarify your final wishes. Register in advance for this free expo. Breakout sessions include: “Estate Planning” at 9 am, and Smart Funeral Planning at 10:30 am, please also register for these as space is limited. Strawberry Brunch and Fashion Show
Thursday, June 14, 10 am
This popular brunch and fashion show features participants modeling fashions from Christopher & Banks. Sponsored by Gardens at St. Elizabeth, Gardens on Quail, and Connect Hearing. Register with payment early as the event sales out ($15/person).

Celebrate Senior Friday Club
Friday, June 8, 12-12:30 pm
A free open house to learn about the Friday Club’s opportunities: bridge, golf, mahjongg, pinochle, Hand and Foot, and more. Enjoy snacks and door prizes.

Party Bridge
Tuesday, June 12 & 26, 1-4 pm
Play for fun, partners rotate after each game. Register ($3.50/day) the Friday before each party. Fee includes game, prizes, and dessert.

Trip: Water Conservation Expo
Saturday, June 9, 9 am-3 pm
Get good water wise ideas at informational booths and the amazing display garden. Register in advance with payment $16 (non-res. $21).

Games Galore
We offer a variety of drop-in games, including Cribbage- 1st and 3rd Mondays at 1 pm, Pinochle- (double deck), Tuesday, 12 -4 pm, and Poker- Thursdays, 12-3 pm. Drop-in games are $1 per time. Also, the Senior Club plays Bridge, Mahjongg, Hand & Foot, and Pinochle every Friday, 1-4 pm, the Club’s membership fee is $20 per year.
