Free Summer Concert Series
Join us for a Friday morning performance for you and your grandkids, or an Thursday evening concert for the whole family at the McIlvoy Park, 5750 Upham Street. Sponsored by the Scientific & Cultural Facilities District, Apex Park & Recreation District Foundation, Craft Carousel Gift Shop, Gardens at St. Elizabeth, Prospect Recreation & Park District, Sooper Credit Union, City of Arvada Parks, and the Friends of the Concerts. In case of rain, the concerts move to the Community Recreation Center, 6842 Wadsworth Blvd.

Teddy Bear Tea with Grandma and Me

Grandparents, bring the grandkids and their favorite teddy bear to enjoy a kid

Public Transportation Training

Learn how to safely & confidently use public transportation (RTD) to expand your travel options. First session is a classroom discussion, second session is a supervised outing with a Via travel trainer. Class meets at noon on July 30. Register by 7/19, $7 ($9 non-res.).

We offer a variety of drop-in games, including Cribbage- 1st and 3rd Mondays at 1 pm, Pinochle- (double deck), Tuesday, 12 -4 pm, and Poker- Thursdays, 12-3 pm. Drop-in games are $1 per time. Also, the Senior Club plays Bridge, Mahjongg, Hand & Foot, and Pinochle every Friday, 1-4 pm, the Club’s membership fee is $20 per year.
