Community Reach Center schedules virtual 5K
Safer-at-Home Reach for Recovery 5K highlights mental health awareness ~
May 19, 2020 – Westminster – Community Reach Center has unveiled its 2st annual 5K Run, Walk and Expo. This year’s 5K Walk, Race and Fun Run will be a virtual event! Get outside and walk or run a 5K at your convenience!
All walkers and runners who register by July 1, will be mailed a 2020 Virtual Run T-shirt and other fun items, including a coupon for a free sandwich at GQue BBQ. The deadline to sign up and submit results is July 14.

Virtual runners are encouraged to send their race times and photos via email or post them to our Facebook or Instagram page by Tuesday, July 14. #CRCVirtual5k. No performance prizes will be awarded, but we will award random participants with fun prizes.

“Last year – which was our first 5K – the event was terrifically successful in Westminster. So, we are going virtual this year due to COVID-19 to keep the excitement going as best we can,” Event Coordinator Evan Narotsky said. “Let’s make this a virtual success, and we’ll see you all together next year, in person, on the trail, and at the event.”
Proceeds from the event will support NAMI (National Alliance of Mental Illness) of Adams County and Community Reach.
