The Colorado Wind Ensemble, the metro area’s urban wind symphony, presents Music on the Edge, in two performances on Saturday, February 15 at 7:30pm at Littleton United Methodist Church, 5894 S Datura St, Littleton 80120; and Sunday, February 16 at 4:00pm at the King Center for the Performing Arts, 855 Lawrence Way, Denver, 80204. The concert features saxophone soloist Mark Harris of Metropolitan State University of Denver on Pulitzer Prize-winner Michael Colgrass’ Dream Dancer. The program includes: Lost Gulch Lookout by Boulder native Kristin Kuster, The Frozen Cathedral by John Mackey, Millennium Canons by Kevin Puts, and Blue Shades by Frank Ticheli.
