Colorado Wind Ensemble Concert Oct 22

The Colorado Wind Ensemble, the metro area’s urban wind symphony, pays tribute to the legendary Eastman Wind Ensemble with great classics recorded on the Mercury Living Presence label in Eastman Recollections on Saturday, Oct 22, at 7:30pm at the King Center on the Auraria campus, 855 Lawrence Way, Denver 80204. Conductor David Kish leads the CWE in a program that includes Paul Hindemith’s Symphony in B-flat, H. Owen Reed’s La Fiesta Mexicana, Peter Mennin’s Canzona, Howard Hanson’s Chorale and Alleluia, and Samuel Barber’s Commando March.
