Free admission and open to the public, Colorado Tartan Day is celebrating Scottish and Celtic heritage. Ever popular, Colorado Tartan Day has expanded into a two day event this year; April 11-12, 2015. Saturday from 9a-5p and Sunday from 9a-4p at Roosevelt Park, 700 Longs Peak Ave in Longmont, Colorado.
Opportunities abound for visiting clan booths to learn more about your ancestors and heritage and meet new clan members. Merchants and food vendors will be available for your shopping and tummy needs.
Listen and dance a jig to excellent highland rock and roll with Angus Mohr and Celtic Legacy. Watch the Colorado Youth Pipe Band and Dancers, the 79th Highlanders and historic re-enactors.
Colorado Tartan Day
Created in 1996 by the Colorado General Assembly to celebrate a day in which all people celebrate the contributions of Scottish Americans to the state of Colorado. Conceived as a day to celebrate ScotlandÕs cultural and historic contributions to the world. We invite all who have embraced the Tartan to join us in celebrating family, community, nation, heritage and the human need for connection.
Photo, Video and Interview Opportunities
A perfect public interest event for a local reporter to cover. Photo opts abound as well as several members of the council with Colorado Tartan Day history and Scottish history knowledge can be made available for interviews.

Made up of individuals interested in keeping alive Scottish and Celtic heritages. These committed volunteers spend the year planning and conducting various fund raisers to support Colorado Tartan Day with such fund raisers as the Highland Sweetheart Tea and whisky tasting events to provide you the best possible Colorado Tartan Day for your enjoyment.
