Some of Colorado’s finest young artists will be aired on CPR’s  “Colorado Spotlight,” April 25th at 7:00 p.m.

InTune String Ensemble will perform Beethoven’s String Quartet Op. 18 No. 1, 1st movement. InTune is a non-profit, 501(C)(3) string quartet comprised of Natalie Hodges, 1st violin; Eloise Hodges, 2nd violin; Alexi Whitsel, viola; and Andrew Peeples, cello.Their name is not so much about playing in tune (no problem there), but rather with being “in tune” with the needs of the community. All of the cash and time contributions they receive are donated to children’s charities. More information on InTune String Ensemble can be found at http://intunestrings.org/.

Other young artists in the program include: “From the Top” featured violinist Emily Switzer and composer Trey Pernell, Pianist Jiaqi “Dragon” Long, and Denver School of the Arts’ Woodwind Quintet.
