Cultural Lunch with Eritrean and Ethiopian Refugee Elders
Friday, May 16, 11:30 a.m.
The Aurora Center for Active Adults (ACAA) is partnering with the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) Area Agency on Aging to improve access to senior resources for refugee elders. A grant supports these efforts. You are invited to attend a Volunteers of America (VOA) customized, ethnic lunch were you will meet the refugee elders and have a new cultural experience. Adults over 60 are not expected to make a contribution toward the cost of the lunch; for others the cost is $7.50. VOA is working with the refugee community to prepare typical lunches for the refugee elders. The May lunch will be for Eritrean and Ethiopian Refugee Elders.
