Ukulele Sing & Strum-a-Longs
Wednesday evenings 5-5:30 p.m.
Strum, tap, sing and dance along with Swallow Hill Music as they teach families how to play the ukulele. They’ll have the whole family playing a song in just 30 minutes! Activities included with Museum admission and instruments are provided.

Members-only Morning
Saturday, August 2 9 – 10 a.m.
Children’s Museum members are invited to an hour of exclusive private play throughout the whole Museum. Receive a 20% discount in the gift shop and café on purchases of $5 or more during the members-only event. No RSVP required. Please present your membership card at the front desk upon arrival.

Target Tuesday Nights
Tuesday, August 5 4 – 8 p.m.
Target is committed to giving back to the communities where their guests and team members live and work. Through their generous spon­sorship to the Children’s Museum of Denver, families can play for FREE the first Tuesday of each month from 4 – 8 p.m. Fall dates: September 2, October 7 and November 4.

FutureVet® with Banfield® Pet Hospital
Saturday, August 16 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
A licensed veterinarian will teach children about the exciting world of veterinary medicine, including what it means to be a responsible pet owner and what doctors look for when they examine your pets. Children will receive a FutureVet® program diploma, stethoscope and goodie bag during “graduation.”
Supplies limited. Activities included with Museum admission.

An Apple a Day Adventures
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 11 a.m.
It’s always possible to live a healthy lifestyle and our Museum Educa­tors want to prove it to you! Our Apple a Day programs incorporate health and wellness into many different topics including arts, science and the environment.
Please note: while these programs will always happen at 11 a.m., topics may vary. Variety is the spice of life – stop by and see what program is happening each day!

Super Scientists – Grossology
Tuesdays at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
EEEWW, that’s gross! Join us for a program filled with icky activities and yucky facts as we learn all about germs. Find out why it’s important to wash our hands and how to become a “master hand washer.”  This program supports Science Knowledge and Skills, Logic and Reasoning, Mathematics Knowledge and Skills and Literacy Knowledge and Skills.

Healthy Kids – It’s a Toothy Tradition
Thursdays at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Join us for a toothy treat! We’ll explore how to keep little mouths healthy, play games and meet a special guest. You’ll be chomping at the bit to use your knowledge about strong, clean teeth!
This program supports Literacy Knowledge and Skills, Science Knowl­edge and Skills and Language Development.

StoryTime
Daily at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Imaginations run wild hearing stories of far-off lands, wacky characters, friendships and fairytales. Each one has a theme with exciting stories and a fun activity, craft or song. Join us every Thursday for Delta Dental Healthy Smiles StoryTimes for fun dental health adventures and activi­ties. This program promotes Literacy Knowledge and Skills and Creative Arts Expression.

Drop-in Programming

Our drop-in weekend programs are filled with exciting activities de­signed to teach little ones all about a healthy lifestyle. From exploring our five senses, to moving those muscles, our drop-ins offer something for the entire family. Programs and times vary.

Lace up and get ready to run, walk, toddle or crawl at the 8th annual Hop, Skip & a Jump Start. The event includes a stroller-friendly 5K run along the South Platte River, an Infant Crawl, Toddler Trot and Kid Course – there’s an event for every member of the family!
