Celebrate Purim and Passover with Temple Micah!
Temple Micah, a friendly, inclusive congregation at 5209 Montview Blvd., Denver, will welcome participants at upcoming holiday events including these:
- Hear Purim limericks and tunes, guided by the Shabbat Jam Band, during Temple Micah’s Purim Jam, a free event at 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 6 at the synagogue.
- Engage in an active, fun telling of the Purim story, using traditional Purim and contemporary music including holiday-themed limericks from religious school students. Bring your own supper and arrive a little early, if you’d enjoy eating with others before this jam.
- Take a place at the table with Temple Micah! Reservations with payment are a “must” by Friday, March 27 for the Temple Micah Community Passover Seder at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 4. Catered by Y.Lo Epicure, the seder will be led by Rabbi Adam Morris and takes place on the second night of Passover. Look forward to a vibrant, meaningful celebration of freedom with Michael and Robin Aubrey, seder co-coordinators. Parents-to-be or families with children younger than age 5 may be eligible for a MazelTot.org discount. Visit Temple Micah’s website at http://www.micahdenver.org or call 303-388-4239 x1.
