The Impact of Substance Use As We Age – Research suggests that substance use is an emerging health crisis among older adults. Despite the continued escalation in use, individuals often know little about the impact substances can have on their health and wellbeing, especially as they age. This presentation will therefore provide an in-depth understanding of these risks while also reviewing the signs of a substance use disorder and important resources to consider should substance issues arise.
