Cartier is one of the world’s most prestigious names in jewelry and luxury accessories, and the Denver Art Museum is the sole venue worldwide for this exhibition. Beginning with an introduction to match-point scoring, this course emphasizes the basic principles and strategies of tournament bridge. Topics include competitive bidding, basic card combinations, defensive signals, popular bidding conventions, plus an explanation of common mistakes and misconceptions.

Learn about computers in one of three classes being offered on Tuesdays, Jan 6, 13 and 20. Take one, take them all! Classes offered are: Intro to Computers/Laptop Help, 8:30 – 9:30 a.m.; Photo Upload/Picasa, 9:45 – 10:45 a.m.; Social Media/Facebook, 11 a.m. – 12 noon. Bring your laptop if you have one (please no Macs), or one may be available for your use if you don’t.

Storytelling is one of the oldest folk art forms in the world and has the power to connect one person to another and one generation to the next. Join us for this introductory presentation from Ann Cress, a storyteller for over 40 years, to her 6-week Storytelling series starting on January 21st.

This two-hour workshop will teach you to listen better while letting others know you’ve heard them, and will give you the skills to tell others how their behavior affect you, and do so without being judgemental. After small group practice, you’ll have tools to be a better listener and communicate with confidence.
