Popular Line Dances. West Age Well Center, Tuesdays, November 1 – 29, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.  R/NR $24/$30

Line dancing is a fun and invigorating activity that utilizes music from around the world. Individuals and beginners welcome, no partner required. 

Ballroom Dancing. East Age Well Center, Thursdays, November 3 – 17, 12:45 – 145 p.m. R/NR $18/$23

Practice partner dance techniques including lead and follow, mirror imaging, body communication, cues, and creative play. Individuals welcome, no partners required. 

NeuroPong™. West Age Well Center, Thursdays, November 3 – Dec. 29, 12:45 – 2:45 p.m. NeuroPong is a table tennis program organized by Table Tennis Connections for people living with neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis and early stage dementia.  Registration required, contact Antonio Barbera, MD at 303-667-1735 or

Dance to live music provided by Tom Yook, a favorite of Boulder dancers. $5 drop-in fee. 

American Mah Jongg for Beginners. West Age Well Center, Mondays and Wednesdays, November 7, 9, 14, 16, 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. R/NR $92/$115. Learn to play American Mah Jongg, a game of both skill and luck. Instructor: Donna Mayo.

Move With Ease: An Introduction to Feldenkrais. East Age Well Center, Tuesday, November 8, 12:30 – 2:00 p.m.

The Feldenkrais Method of Somatic Education® helps participants learn to move with ease using slow, mindful movements to achieve powerful effects in terms of balance, flexibility, and coordination, and relates directly to functional movements of daily life.  

Bone Health. Online, Thursday, November 10, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Learn how factors like regular exercise and proper nutrition promote greater bone mineral density across the lifespan. 

Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing. Online, Wednesdays and Fridays, November 9 – December 9, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.  Household fees: R/NR $50/$63 Instructor Lori Lucas will examine aspects of this play that have kept audiences and readers fascinated for over four hundred years.

Jazz Dance Workshop. East Age Well Center, Wednesday, November 9, 12:45 – 2:00 p.m. R/NR $10/$13

Collette Travel Information and Social Gathering, West Age Well Center, Monday, November 14, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Meet Collette Travel representative Charles Thompson to learn about an escorted group tour in Ireland and other destinations in 2023 and 2024.

Building Strength at Home: Progressive Movements for Daily Life. East Age Well Center, Monday, November 14, 12:30 – 2:00 p.m.  This workshop is a participative, experiential and problem-solving workshop for each participant to identify weaknesses in standing, posture, alignment, or movement and to design a personal progression towards building the strength to correct it. 

Living Well with Dementia: Fostering Hope, health, and Happiness. West Age Well Center, Wednesday, November 16, 11:00 a.m. – noon. This class will help participants appreciate positive aspects and provide practical suggestions on how to travel this path.

Living History Performance: Erma Bombeck, “By Your Side”. West Age Well Center, Monday, November 21, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. This one-hour program includes a monologue in-character, followed first by a Q&A with “Erma Bombeck” and then Q&A with the presenter, Susan Marie Frontczak.
