Chair Yoga and Balance Series. These classes bring together postures and techniques of yoga with the support of a chair. All levels welcome.

  • Chair Yoga – Fridays. West Age Well Center, Fridays, March 1 – 29 (4 classes) 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. Fees: R/NR $32/$40
  • Chair Yoga – Mondays. West Age Well Center, Mondays, March 4 – 25 (3 classes, NO class 2/19) 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. Fees: R/NR $24/$30

Feldenkrais: Move with Ease. Increase ease and range of motion, improve flexibility and coordination, and rediscover an innate capacity for graceful and efficient movement. 

  • Move with Ease – Chair Based Series. West Age Well Center, Mondays, March 4 – April 8,                  
  • 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. Fees: R/NR $60/$75. Participants will walk, stand or sit in a chair for all movements during this series. 
  • Move with Ease – Mat Based Series. East Age Well Center, Tuesdays, March 5 – April 9, 2:30 – 4:00 p.m., Fees: R/NR $60/$75. Participants must be able to get up and down from a mat safely to join this series. 

Community Protection Division Drop-in Office Hours. West Age Well Center, Monday, March 4, 10:30 a.m. – 12:30p.m. Drop in to ask questions of the Community Protection Division at the Boulder County District Attorney’s Office about personal fraud or potential scam situations. 

“New Rules for End-of-Life Care” Movie and Discussion. East Age Well Center, Thursday, March 7, 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. This film is designed to promote discussion about dying and caring for someone at the end of life. The film showing with be 24-minutes followed by a guided conversation and discussion.

Popular Line Dances. West Age Well Center, Tuesdays, March 5 – 26 (4 classes) 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. 

Fees: R/NR $32/$40. Line dancing is a fun, invigorating activity and utilizes music from around the world.

Ballroom Dancing – The Rhumba. East Age Well Center, Thursdays, March 7 – 28 (4 classes) 12:45 – 1:45 p.m. Fees: R/NR $32/$40. Participants will practice leading, following, and understanding the music, flow and style of The Rhumba.

Studio Arts Boulder Pottery Classes. Learn about the fundamentals of pottery to make functional and whimsical pieces. 

  • Pottery EAST. East Age Well Center, Monday, March 11, 1:00 – 2:30 p.m., Fees: R/NR $10/$13
  • Pottery WEST. West Age Well Center, Wednesday, March 20, 1:30 – 3:00 p.m., Fees: R/NR $10/$13

Sans Souci Dance Film Screening, Discussion and Optional Dance Class. West Age Well Center, Tuesday, March 12, 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. Watch a series of short dance films followed by discussion and ending with an optional dance class. 

Downsizing. West Age Well Center, Friday, March 15, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.  Downsizing may feel overwhelming. Luann Pesonen, Owner of PeopleHelpers Ltd. will provide some helpful tips and resources to make the process easier.   

Living History Performance “Legendary Ladies: Unconventional Women of the West”. West Age Well Center, Wednesday, March 27, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Through several vignettes, learn about extraordinary women who have made significant contributions to the history of the West.
