Get Acquainted! West Age Well Center, Monday, June 4, 10 – 11 a.m. Get acquainted with others who are new to the area, new to Older Adult Services, or interested in making new connections.

FREE Introduction to Tai Chi. East Age Well Center, Tuesday, June 4, noon – 1 p.m. Join Instructor Steve Arney for an introduction to Tai Chi, emphasizing balance, and including time for questions and answers.

Tai Chi Level I: Beginning. East Age Well Center, Tuesdays, June 11 – August 13, noon – 1 p.m., Fees: R/NR $72/$90. Learn the basics, including breath, mental focus, postural awareness and correct mechanics of each move. 

Popular Line Dances. West Age Well Center, Tuesdays, June 4 – 25 (4 classes) 1 – 2 p.m. Fees: R/NR $32/$40. Line dancing is a fun, invigorating activity and utilizes music from around the world.

Shakespeare: “Richard III”. Online, Wednesdays and Fridays, June 5 and 7, 10 – 11 a.m. and a double class June 26 and 28, 9 – 11 a.m. Fees: R/NR $70/$88 per household. Review “Richard III”, a tale of deceit, manipulation, jealousy and war. 

Chair Yoga and Balance. West Age Well Center, Mondays, June 3 – 24, 10 – 10:45 a.m. Fees: R/NR $32/$40. Practice postures and techniques of yoga with the support of a chair. 

Coffee with a Cop: Building Relationships One Cup at a Time. West Age Well Center, Tuesday, June 11, 10:30 a.m. – noon. Coffee with a Cop creates a space to ask questions, voice concerns, and get to know the community’s officers.

Innovative Technologies to Empower Older Adults 60+ with Disabilities. Explore technologies that assist and empower older adults living with disabilities that include mobility, hearing, vision, cognition, or other aspects of daily living. TWO OPTIONS: Online. Wednesday, June 12, 10 a.m. – noon OR West Age Well Center, Tuesday, June 18, 10 a.m. – noon.

Purple Art – Creative Expression. West Age Well Center, Wednesday, June 17, 1 – 2:30 p.m. Participants complete an art project using various media such as paint, collage, found objects and more.

How Hearing Loss Affects Your Brain. East Age Well Center, Monday, June 24, 1 – 2:30 p.m. Learn about the cognitive, social-emotional, and neurophysiological changes associated with hearing loss in adults and how treatment with hearing aids can positively impact those changes.

Folk Dance Series. East Age Well Center, Wednesdays, June 26- July 24 (5 classes), 1:15 – 2:15 p.m. Fees: R/NR $40/$50. Folk dance lessons will include line or circle dances from around the world. Join this new social dance series and enjoy the many health benefits of dancing. 

Easy Rider Bike Group. Join this social cycling group for riders 60+. Rides leave from various locations around Boulder, Louisville or Longmont. Contact Sandy for information and to join the group at 970-584-0311.
