Chair Yoga and Balance Series. These classes bring together postures and techniques of yoga with the support of a chair. All levels welcome.

Community Protection Division Drop-in Office Hours. West Age Well Center, Monday, February 5, 10:30 a.m. – 12:30p.m. Drop in to ask questions of the Community Protection Division at the Boulder County District Attorney’s Office about personal fraud or potential scam situations. 

Introduction to Medical Aid in Dying (MAID) and Voluntary Stopping of Eating and Drinking (VSED) 

Online, Tuesday, February 6, 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Join this program to learn about the Colorado statutes Medical Aid in Dying (MAID) and Voluntary Stopping of Eating and Drinking (VSED).

Popular Line Dances. West Age Well Center, Tuesdays, February 6 – 27 (4 classes) 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Fees: R/NR $32/$40. Line dancing is a fun, invigorating activity and utilizes music from around the world.

Iris Folding Art Class. East Age Well Center, Monday, February 12, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Fees: R/NR $10/$12.

This class will utilize an old technique from early 20th century Holland to make valentine cards.

Studio Arts Boulder Pottery Classes. Learn about the fundamentals of pottery to make functional and whimsical pieces. 

  • Pottery EAST. East Age Well Center, Monday, February 12, 1:00 – 2:30 p.m., Fees: R/NR $10/$13
  • Pottery WEST. West Age Well Center, Wednesday, February 21, 1:30 – 3:00 p.m., Fees: R/NR $10/$13

Sans Souci Dance Film Screening, Discussion and Optional Dance Class. West Age Well Center, Tuesday, February 13, 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. Watch a series of short dance films followed by discussion and ending with an optional dance class. 

Technology Workshop: How Artificial Intelligence Will Impact Older Adults in the Next Five Years. 

  • Tech: Artificial Intelligence IN-PERSON. West Age Well Center, Tuesday, February 13, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
  • Tech: Artificial Intelligence ONLINE. Wednesday, February 14, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Saying Goodbye: Preparing for Death. Online, Thursday, February 15, 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. Watch the film “Saying Goodbye: Preparing for Death” followed by discussion facilitated by end-of-life educators, Diane Hullet and Margaret Kane.

Physiological Processes in Aging. West Age Well Center, Friday, February 16, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. This program reviews the science behind interventions to help slow aging processes and improve the length of time someone can remain healthy.  

Heart Health. East Age Well Center, Thursday, February 22, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. This class will cover how and why to reduce sodium intake, get fiber into a regular diet for cholesterol reduction, and the importance of staying hydrated.
