Walk With Ease: A Feldenkrais Series. East Age Well Center, Tuesdays, August 1, 8 and 15, 2:30— 4:00 p.m., R/NR $30/$40.  Learn to move with ease and enhance the ability to walk. Explore gentle movements of the Feldenkrais Method of Somatic Education® to enhance balance and coordination.

3rd Law Dance / Theater’s In Motion Project. West Age Well Center, Weekly on Thursdays, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.  Movement classes for people living with Parkinson’s, and anyone with mobility concerns. All abilities, families, friends and care-partners welcome. No dance experience required, in chairs or standing. Discover diverse dance styles to energizing and inspiring music.

Get Acquainted! West Age Well Center Lobby, Friday, August 4, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Tour and learn about programs, resources and services offered by Older Adult Services and Eat Well Café.

Jazz Dance. East Age Well Center, Fridays, August 4 – 25, 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. Fees: R/NR $24/$30. Jazz, a fun, invigorating dance style designed to show stylish expression.

Private Dance Lessons. East or West Age Well Centers, contact Maureen to schedule (303) 441-3012. Fees: R/NR $50/$63/hour. Private lessons, styles of dance may include swing, salsa, foxtrot, waltz, line dancing, jazz and more.

Physiological Processes in Aging. East Age Well Center, Monday, August 21, 11:00 a.m. — Noon. This program reviews the physiological processes of aging and the science behind the interventions the Integrative Physiology of Aging (IPA) Lab at CU Boulder is studying to help slow these processes and improve the length of time someone can remain healthy.

Emergency Planning and Preparedness. Online, Tuesday, August 24, 10:00 – 1:30 a.m.  Review disaster preparedness and learn about Boulder County hazards, how to receive emergency alerts, assess risk and create a disaster preparedness plan.

Technology Coaching ONLINE. Thursdays August 10 and 24, 30-minute timeslots.  One-to-one assistance using an online platform. Tech coach assists participants with Apple, Samsung, or Android products. Must be able to access Zoom on device. To be eligible for this technology assistance funded through a grant from Frasier Retirement Community, customers must be at least 60 years old and have a city of Boulder address. Registration required.

Transgender Proud: Stories of Strength and Love. West Age Well Center, Wednesday August 23, 1:00 – 2:15 p.m.  Audiovisual presentation that celebrates the lives of transgender people. Personal stories will illuminate not only what it means to be transgender, but what it means to be human.

Technology Workshop: Staying Safe Online. West Age Well Center (in-person), Monday, August 28, 1:00 – 2:15 p.m.  Review how to recognize and avoid technology-based scams, identifying symptoms of computer viruses. Learn about browser security features, how to perform a scan on a PC or Mac, and tips to create strong passwords.
