Americans age 65 and older account for 13.3 percent of the total population. Older Americans Month, an annual national celebration, celebrates the significant contributions made by older Americans across the country. This year’s theme, “Unleash the Power of Age,” explores the wealth of talents, experiences and interests of older Americans. Learn more in this free exhibit.

Multicultural Potluck

Join Boulder Senior Services for a multicultural potluck to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Bring a potluck dish to share with neighbors from Longmont, Lafayette, Louisville and Erie. We will have traditional Mexican dance, music, lots of food and fun.

Functional Fitness Assessment for Older Adults 55+

Tests provide information and feedback to participants regarding their health- and skill-related fitness components. Combine an initial baseline assessment with a follow-up to quantify changes in physical performance.

Comfort Touch®

Comfort Touch® is performed by a certified massage therapist with additional training in this unique acupressure technique, applied with a client clothed on a massage table. Its primary intention is to provide comfort while promoting deep relaxation and relief from pain.

Byers-Evans House Museum “Mother’s Day Tea”

We will begin our visit to Denver with a tour of the home, which has been beautifully restored to the 1912 to 1924 time period. After the tour, we will enjoy afternoon tea at the Byers-Evans House Museum.
