Thursday, October 1: Crafting Your Lyric
Learn about the tools of lyric writing, and how to use them to tell your stories through lyrics. This workshop is great for both experienced lyricists, and those interested in dipping their toes in the water!
Thursday, October 15: Crafting Composition
We often think of writing music as a lofty, mysterious activity for those highly educated in music. However, everyone has music inside them, and has the ability to create musical ideas. This workshop is an introduction to the elements of musical composition, specifically as it relates to songwriting. Reading music and musical notation will NOT be necessary skills for this workshop!
Thursday, October 22: Writing Music and Lyrics
In this workshop, get a crash course on musical composition and writing lyrics, and tips and tricks on how to put them together, and let one inspire the other. Previous experience/the ability to read music not necessary!
