‘Become a Facebook Star’ Enrichment Workshops
The South Metro Health Alliance (SMHA) is convening the communities of Arapahoe and Douglas counties in May and June 2013 at Doctors Care in Littleton for a suite of three workshops designed to give confidence to those who are new to Facebook and want to come away with handy hints and tips on running their organization’s Facebook Page safely and effectively. Seating is limited and reservations are requested.
The first workshop, on Thursday, May 9, 2013 from 9am to 11am, is entitled Social Media marketing Made Simple. This information-packed seminar presented by The Great Online will review the essential strategies and best practices an organization should understand in order to successfully get started with social media marketing. The second and third workshops will be held on Wednesday, May 22 and Wednesday, June 5 respectively, again from 9am to 11am. These workshops will concentrate on the dos and don’ts when running both a personal Facebook profile and an organization’s Facebook Page. The instructor will be Traci Jones, Communications Specialist with SMHA. The first workshop is free and the other two workshops are available at a discount for SMHA members and/or for booking all three. All of SMHA’s Enrichment Workshops are open to the public, with a focus on non-profits.
SMHA is a network of dedicated health care providers and community-based organizations who serve the uninsured and underinsured in Arapahoe and Douglas counties (with the exception of Aurora, CO), with a mission of uniting the community for better access to health care for all.
