Inaugural Event Scheduled for July 25

Arvada, CO – The Arvada Festivals Commission is celebrating craft beer and barbecue in a BIG WAY!

Taste pale ales, fresh hopped ales, Scottish ales, pilsners, bocks, oatmeal stouts, and lagers while watching contestants from across the country vie for $10,000 in a grilling competition sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society.

WHAT:   Arvada on Tap: A Craft Brew and BBQ Fest
WHEN:   Saturday, July 25, 12 Ð 8 p.m.
WHERE: Ralston Park, W. 64th Avenue and Simms Street in Arvada

There is a $5 fee to enter the event.

In addition to beer and barbeque, attendees will enjoy live music, games, food vendors, arts and crafts, and more! Children are welcome but there will be limited activities available.

Arvada on Tap is produced by the Arvada Festivals Commission and its community partners: Arvada-Jefferson Kiwanis, Arvada Rotary, Arvada Sunrise Rotary, and Arvada Vitality Alliance. All net proceeds will benefit these partners to support their community projects.
