Arvada Historical Society to Host 3rd Annual Garden Tour
Join Arvada Historical Society on Saturday, June 22, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., rain or shine, for an opportunity to wander through six beautiful Arvada residential plus the Rose Roots Community Gardens. View water features, xeriscape, a cottage flower garden, beautiful roses, an outdoor kitchen, and a pergola-covered deck.
Cost is $15 per person and the proceeds will support the Arvada Historical Society. We thank Davey Tree for their generous partnership on this event.
Tickets may be purchased the day of the tour at the Arvada Flour Mill, 5590 Olde Wadsworth, which will open at 8:30 a.m. There you will receive a map for this self-guided tour which will direct you to all the gardens. Visit them in any order you please and as many as you like before 1:00 p.m. Resident gardeners will be on hand to answer your questions. At one of the gardens we again will be selling fun, decorated birdhouses.
Dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. Please be aware that strollers and pets are not allowed in the gardens. For further information call Mary Jo at 303-421-2032.
