Apex PRD hosts food drive for Arvada Community Food Bank; discount admission day featured

A district-wide collection for the Arvada Community Food Bank is set to kick off Wednesday, February 20. As part of this effort, the Apex Center will discount daily admissions all day on Thursday, February 21. On that day, daily admission is just $2 if you bring three cans of food. The food drive will continue at all Apex PRD facilities through March 29. Thanks for your generous support of local residents in need!

Two Easter events at Apex PRD coming up on March 23

The annual Bunny Breakfast takes place on Saturday, March 23 from 9-10:30 am at the Community Recreation Center, 6842 Wadsworth Boulevard. Enjoy all-you-can-eat pancakes, visits with the Easter Bunny, games and rides on the Easter Bunny Express. Bring your own camera! Adults must accompany children – two and under are free, all other children and adults, $5. Register by March 20, no tickets sold at the door.

After breakfast, head for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. This year’s hunt is outdoors at the southeast portion of Stenger Soccer Complex, and as always, it starts at 11 am sharp. We recommend you get there by 10:45. Bring a basket!
