Craft Fair Vendor Registration

Registration for vendors to secure a booth at the Apex Craft Fair on November 5, from 9:00-3:00 p.m. begins August 22. Hurry, spaces are limited! Registration is in-person only at the Community Recreation Center. Please call Laura at 303.425.9583 for more information.

Active Adult – Free Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar Screening

Wednesday, September 7, 9:30 a.m.

Keep tabs on your blood pressure and blood sugar levels. The Arvada Fire Protection District provides this free service. No appointment necessary, just drop by.

Bunco Bash

Wednesday, September 28, 1:00 p.m.

Enjoy an afternoon playing this easy, fun game. Light refreshments and prizes included. Experienced and new Bunco player’s welcome. Register by Monday prior, $5 ($5 non-res.)

Fall Prevention: Friends Don’t Let Friends Fall
Time and Date TBD

Location: Community Recreation Center

In honor of Fall Prevention month, learn how you can help prevent falls by joining the Arvada Fire Department and Lutheran Medical Center for their fall prevention presentation. After a brief talk, safely participate in their modified fall prevention obstacle course. This course simulates common fall scenarios that people might encounter in the community or at home, as well as information on self-help after a fall. Register in advance. Fee: $5 ($6 non-res.).
