Apex Community Recreation Center Now Open
The Apex Community Recreation Center (senior center) is now opened for modified hours as follows: Monday-Wednesday, 8:00 a.m.-noon, Fridays, noon-4:00 p.m. We are offering a variety of activities including pastels, watercolor, crochet, art shows, creative writing, current events, billiards, games, health screenings, cultural events, yoga, craft shop, drop-in fitness classes, and more. Start with the basics, then move to include English, strategies, cue ball control, banks shots, kick shots…all are simple theories to grasp. We will also discuss different common games.

Crochet and Chat
Gather for crochet tips, fun, and camaraderie. All levels welcome. Bring any project that appeals to you, or just bring yourself and the group will help you get started. Cassie Herron, facilitator.

Pastels and Drawing Studio
Explore the techniques of charcoal or pastels. Themed demonstrations, tips, tricks, and projects teach useful techniques to help artists of all levels improve their work. James Pyott, instructor.
