Apex Active Adult Programs – April 2021
It’s spring! Join Apex’s Active Adult programs either in-person or virtually to connect and stay active. Below is a small sampling of upcoming programs, but you can stay updated on all the latest offerings by visiting the website at ApexPRD.org. On the website you can also sign up for the biweekly e-newsletter, “The Rundown,” for a more complete listing of district programs. Spring options include Crochet and Chat, Parking Lot BINGO, creative writing, hiking, yoga, fitness, SilverSneakers, Renew Active, line dancing, personal training, water exercise, pickleball, and much more.
A variety of daytime and evening fused glass classes begin the week of April 5 at the Simms Street Center (11706 W. 82nd Ave.). Fused glass art captures the beauty and rich colors of stained glass without the need for metal or soldering. Create unique, usable art pieces. No previous experience necessary. Tools and equipment furnished if needed. Bring gloves if desired. Glass purchased separately. Contact Kay at KayP@ApexPRD.org, 303.467.7125, for details.
