Annual Heroes of A Precious Child Luncheon
A Precious Child, a local nonprofit serving children and families in need across the Denver Metro Area, will be hosting their Annual Heroes of A Precious Child Luncheon on Thursday, April 13 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM at the Seawell Ballroom at Denver Center for Performing Arts. The Luncheon is one of the organization’s largest fundraisers of the year, bringing together hundreds of community members, business leaders and elected officials to learn more about A Precious Child’s essential programs and impact. The event will help celebrate A Precious Child’s 15 years of service to Colorado children in need while honoring heroes in the community who have helped to make it all possible.
Members of the community are invited to attend to join in celebration of those receiving the Heroes of A Precious Child Award and to hear inspirational stories from clients served. There is no cost to attend, but donations are encouraged. Guests may check-in at 11:00 AM, lunch will be preset and the program will begin promptly at 11:30 AM and finish no later than 1:00 PM. All proceeds from the event will further A Precious Child’s mission to provide opportunities and resources to Colorado children in need to empower them to achieve their full potential.
“A Precious Child exists to serve families with dignity and respect, offering a hand up in their greatest time of need. Last year, A Precious Child provide more than $12 million in goods to more than 57,000 children and 10,000 of their caregivers,” said Carina Martin, CEO and Founder of A Precious Child. “There are; however, more than 82,000 children living below poverty in the Denver Metro Area and more than 250,000 families living below self-sufficiency. The need for our programs is ever growing and it would not be possible without the community’s support through events such as our luncheon”.
