Earthquake in Nepal – A Hikers’ Experience
On April 25, 2015, 68 year old hiker Ann Price had planned to climb two 20,000 foot Himalaya peaks in Nepal. However her plans changed when the 7.8 earth quake shook the mountains and cut her off from outside contact. Hear her story about the devastating destruction of the earthquake and the uplifting tale of the resilience of the Nepali people. Join Ann as she shares her experience and her spectacular photos of the Nepali mountains, villages, and people. Fee: $6 resident; $7 non-resident.
