Stay Informed… Meet Colorado’s State Legislators
On March 20, 2013, Colorado Senior Lobby will be sponsoring the annual Senior Day at the Capital. This event is an experience that will keep you informed about issue are important to you. Start the day with a free continental breakfast and offering a nominally priced lunch ( or you are welcome to bring your own) this event provides an opportunity to talk to your legislators, a look at issues facing seniors in Colorado, and a chance to network with other seniors.
Colorado Senior Lobby is a non-profit, all volunteer organization of seniors who monitor senior issues and state legislation that might affect seniors in the state. During the legislative session Senior Lobby meets weekly to evaluate new bills and decides whether to support, oppose, or continue watching the bills relevant to the state’s senior population.
Senior Lobby also goes to the capital to lobby legislators on senior issues, sends letters to sponsors and cosponsors of bills to make our position clear on the issues, and invite numerous speakers to our meetings to keep informed on the issues.
Schedule for Senior Legislature Day
8 am to 9 am — Continental Breakfast (North 2nd Floor Mezzanine)
9 am to Noon — Old Supreme Court Chambers (2nd Floor)
Limited seating is available in the Old Supreme Court Chambers to first come, first served. Others may be required to stand.
Noon to 2 pm — Lunch & Afternoon Program at Central Presbyterian Church

Lunch reservations will not be accepted after March 15, 2013
