Prime Time For Seniors ~
Happy Spring Prime Timers! Everything will soon be in bloom and growing. What a wonderful time of year! My wife Deb and I really enjoyed meeting folks at the Day at the Capitol and Senior Connection events held last month. It’s always fun to get feedback from our readers. You are our inspiration and we thank you for your encouragement and kind words!!
Baseball season is here, a sure sign that warmer weather will follow. I like the look of the Rockies. They have a formidable team and should do well come this fall. There is nothing like being at a ball park and watching a game of baseball. That’s true from T-ball to the Rockies. It’s a great game!
If you’re a golfer please take advantage of the two charity tournaments in this month’s paper. Morning Star Senior Living in Arvada is holding a tournament for the benefit of the Alzheimer’s Association at Fossil Trace Golf Club in Golden. A great course and a greater cause. We hope to see you there. If you hear a loud “Fore” it’s probably me. Eastern Star Masonic Retirement Campus is sponsoring their ninth annual charity golf tournament which will be held at the Park Hill Golf Course. This event sells out every year. Check out their ads in this month’s edition.
If you are a fan of the annual Salute to Seniors you’ll be happy to know that the show will be held this year on Saturday May 12th at the Denver Convention Center. Note this year they changed the name to “Salute To Creative Aging”. I like the name change – it’s more in line with the show’s theme.
Thank you to all our editorial contributors for sharing your message with our seniors. A big thank you to our advertisers! Without you we wouldn’t have a Prime Time…
